Online communities are great places to learn. Here you can talk to people your own age and help each other with topics you are struggling with. Our Coaches are also on hand to respond to your posts and set up new discussion groups.
Each community can have its own discussion forum, an online poll and a news feed, which brings relevant information into the community on a daily basis from other websites e.g. BBC
Our Coaches have set up a number of Maths communities and this is where you will find the most activity on the site. You can post a request for help and sit back and watch the responses come flooding in. Or you might want to help another student who is stuck or share your top tips for revision.
If your school/college is registered on MathsZone, then you will also have access to a school community, run by your teachers. This will let you follow up class work and discuss topics and problems with your classmates and teachers.
It’s not all about Maths! For those times when you need a break from your studies there are General Communities set up to support different hobbies and interest areas.
Click on the ‘Help with Maths’ community below to take a closer look at one of our communities.
