And it’s not just about maths – MathsZone helps students with confidence in IT, communication skills, working with their peers – all the things that are so important to their learning.
Our Coaches are real people with years of experience of helping students in maths, and their skills are at the heart of the site.
Students can email our Coaches at anytime, and each student will get an individual answer from a real person within 24 hours*. Our Coaches also run all aspects of the site – monitoring discussions on the general public communities, setting maths challenges and quizzes, setting up new discussion groups and keeping discussion moving in the right direction.

MathsZone has hundreds of multimedia, interactive resources, selected from the very best educational suppliers for Maths revision and learning resources such as Letts and Pearson.
They have been selected by the team at Edexcel, and are easy to use and easy to find – every topic is covered, and each one is linked to the Edexcel Maths course (linear and modular specifications) at Foundation and Higher level.
Many students find it easier to learn by talking to people their own age who are facing the same difficulties. Our communities put GCSE Maths students all over the country in touch with each other. They can see what Maths topics other students are struggling with – and how they solved them. Or take part in discussions started by our Coaches. Or many are motivated and excited by communicating their skills - helping out other students with what they know.
Students can take part in our regular Maths Challenge and quizzes – they are run by our Coaches and are a perfect way to hone their maths skills, and focus on the topics that are really important for your revision. And they can see model answers for key topics in the Maths Challenge archive. You could even set the latest Maths Challenge as homework for your students.
