In this challenge we are going to be looking at Decimals and Fractions and how they interact.
A number expressed in decimal form, is one where we use a decimal point to express the number, so for example 0.5 is a decimal. They can be exact (which do not go on forever) or recurring, which keep repeating themselves (for example 0.111111111 recurring)
A Fraction is the ratio of 2 whole numbers, i.e. one whole number over another. An example of a fraction is
You also may need to be aware of simplifying fractions, equivalence in fractions and ordering fractions. With decimals you need to make sure you understand place value and ordering decimals. You also should make sure you are aware of converting fractions to decimals and decimals and fractions.
